To enrich new employees' professional knowledge of equipment and product systems, deepen their comprehension of manufacturing procedures and full-industry-chain operation mechanisms, and further upgrade their comprehensive professional capabilities, MER Group recently arranged a field training trip for interns in Shanxi Province. The visiting team conducted in-depth on-site inspections at two wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Group: Shanxi Zhongshi Dingxin New Materials Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Nanlou Mining Co., Ltd.
Both enterprises are fully invested and operated by MER Group. As the Group's core raw material mining base, Shanxi Nanlou Mining Co., Ltd. acts as a stable and reliable raw material supplier for Shanxi Zhongshi Dingxin New Materials Co., Ltd. Equipped with standardized mining, crushing and screening systems, the company implements strict quality control over ore resources at the source, laying a solid quality foundation and ensuring consistent production capacity for the Group's downstream new material manufacturing business.
Serving as MER Group's exclusive core base for limestone intensive processing, Shanxi Zhongshi Dingxin New Materials Co., Ltd. has built a complete integrated production system relying on high-quality limestone resources supplied by Shanxi Nanlou Mining. The base is equipped with two high-activity calcium oxide production lines supported by rotary kiln equipment, each boasting a designed daily output of 1,000 tons. Put into operation in 2021 and 2025 respectively, the two production lines maintain stable and efficient operation, with the actual daily output reaching 1,100 to 1,200 tons. Relevant data shows that the annual designed production capacity exceeds 600,000 tons, achieving an average overproduction rate of 10% to 20%. Featuring low energy consumption and prominent production capacity advantages, the production lines deliver superior operational performance. Notably, the entire lime rotary kiln production system was delivered by MER Group via a full EPC turnkey project, covering professional design, precision manufacturing, on-site installation and comprehensive commissioning. This fully embodies the Group's strong all-round strength in equipment manufacturing, engineering construction and industrial supporting services.
Accompanied by on-site management personnel, the interns systematically observed the entire standardized production workflow at the lime rotary kiln workshop. The whole process starts with raw ore exploitation at Nanlou Mining. Raw materials undergo primary crushing via jaw crushers and secondary crushing through toothed roll crushers. The processed materials feature uniform particle size, minimal flaky particles and low fine powder content, which greatly reduces the operational pressure of subsequent dust removal procedures. After secondary screening and fine preprocessing, qualified limestone materials are transported to preheaters for energy-saving heat accumulation, before being delivered to rotary kilns for high-temperature calcination. After uniform cooling by dedicated coolers, premium finished lime is conveyed to large-scale storage silos through high-temperature resistant conveyor belts.
Benefiting from the natural terrain drop of the mine-adjacent plant area, the production layout is scientifically optimized, which significantly simplifies the raw material feeding and conveying process. The matched combined crushing technology of jaw crushers and roll crushers effectively improves the comprehensive material recovery rate. Instable output and excessive energy consumption have long been core technical bottlenecks restricting the development of the lime rotary kiln industry. Breaking through these industry pain points, MER Group has successfully realized the dual advantages of high-efficiency stable production and low energy consumption. Sampling tests verify that the finished lime achieves an activity of over 400mL/4NHCl with an extremely low underburning rate, and the finished products will be automatically loaded for shipment to complete the whole delivery process. The immersive on-site learning enabled all participating interns to thoroughly master the core logic and key technical points of the full production chain.
This immersive field training has helped interns break through the limitations of theoretical-only learning. Participants have acquired a systematic and three-dimensional understanding of the Group's upstream and downstream product layout, core production technologies and competitive advantages, making up for gaps in professional post knowledge. All interns spoke highly of the training, noting that the curriculum was content-rich and highly practical. They fully recognized the vital importance of professional competency for personal career development and corporate growth, and expressed their determination to translate the on-site gains and practical insights into efficient work performance.
Moving forward, Shanxi Zhongshi Dingxin New Materials Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Nanlou Mining Co., Ltd. will serve as the Group's internal professional talent incubation bases. MER Group will normalize on-site study tours, technical exchanges and skill training sessions to continuously strengthen talent team building and enhance core industrial competitiveness. Empowered by continuous talent cultivation and technological innovation, the Group will steadily advance along the full industrial chain and achieve new breakthroughs in future development.
